"Alabama Scholarships for Service, Not Just Grades"

         Sierra found her passion working with special needs children at a local gymnastic center.  She credits her experiences working with a six year old Down Syndrome student as her inspiration to pursue a career as a physical therapist.  Sierra has already sought out co-ops and internships with a PT clinic. 
 
         While working to help support her single parent family, she also serves as a vocalist withJacqueline Sierra Clark2 her Sunday morning worship team and leads children’s services on mission trips in New Mexico.  At school, Sierra participates in the Literacy Club, Music Honor Society, Honor Choir, Diamond Dolls and Habit for Humanity.  In total, Sierra has over 1,000 community service hours.
 
Sierra will be attending Troy University this fall to study Physical Therapy.
